GOOD PENNIE!

The work of Pennie Smith is celebrated...

Classic NME shots of Clash, THE STROKES and OASIS are to get a rare public airing in BELFAST.

The work of rock photographer Pennie Smith will be exhibited at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival at the Waterfront Hall on May 5-11.

The 40-print display includes Smith's first NME commission on the road with Led Zeppelin in 1973 and JJ72's infamous 'London Calling' image.

Charting rock music through the ages, other photos include The Stone Roses, The Rolling Stones, and [a][/a].
