A new behind the scenes biography of Clash is being launched next month.
'Passion is a Fashion: The Real Story of Clash coincides with the recent 25th-anniversary re-release of the band’s classic 'London Calling' album.
The biography, by Pat Gilbert includes interviews with all members of the band, including the late Joe Strummer, as well as extensive new research and interviews with the group’s entourage, road crew, promoters and management.
It is the first book to go behind the scenes and set the band in an accurate historical and political context during their ten year career.
