London band The Metros have been kicked off The Coral’s current UK tour for increasingly uncontrollable rowdy behaviour and equipment destruction.

The Metros’ spokesperson explained to NME.COM that the band had indulged in raucous behaviour from the beginning of the tour, smashing items backstage and throwing beer around continuously.

The band had previously been banned from Holiday Inn hotels nationwide for similar behaviour.

After the London leg of the tour, things came to a head when the band became particularly rowdy, irritating The Coral’s friends who had attended the gig by throwing more beer.

The decision was made by The Coral’s camp to kick the band off the tour. The last date they played with the band was the gig at Leeds University last Saturday (October 13).
