Bill Ryder-Jones, former guitarist with The Coral, has released a free EP for download.

Ryder-Jones, who left the Liverpool psychedelic pop band in 2008 after 12 years in the group, has revealed he has almost finished his debut solo album, which will be released in next few months.

You can download the EP, which is titled 'A Leave Taking Soundtrack', for free from Domino Records, with whom Ryder-Jones has now signed a deal to release his debut solo album.

'A Leave Taking Soundtrack' is the second major recording project Ryder-Jones has worked on in 2011. Earlier this year he teamed up with Graham Coxon and Paloma Faith to record 'Desire'. The collaboration was orchestrated by the Converse footwear company and is available to download from Converse.co.uk now.

The tracklisting for 'A Leave Taking Soundtrack' is as follows:

'Nothing Ever Changes'
'A Leave Taking'
'Moel Famau'
'Glennons Theme'
