The Courteeners have revealed that their debut album will be entled 'St Jude', and will be released on April 7.

The band's single 'Acrylic' – a firm fan favourite – has been left off the album.

Saint Jude himself, who the album is named after, is a Christian saint. He became known as the patron saint of lost causes as originally his name was confused with the Bible character of Judas, rendering devotion to him “a lost cause”.

The track-listing for 'St Jude' is:

'Aftershow'
'Cavorting'
'Bide Your Time'
'What Took You So Long?'
'Please Don't'
'If It Wasn't For Me'
'No You Didn't, No You Don't'
'How Come'
'Kings Of The New Road'
'Not Nineteen Forever'
'Fallowfield Hillbilly'
'Yesterday, Today'
