Band will head out on the road again in October

Manchester lads The Courteeners have announced another batch of tour dates.

The four-piece, whose debut album 'St. Jude' entered the charts at Number Four this weekend, are currently on a sold-out tour of the UK.

After various summer festival appearances, though, The Courteeners will kick off a new headlining tour in Newcastle on October 3.

The band will play the following dates:

Glasgow Barrowlands (7)
Manchester Apollo (9)
Liverpool University (11)
Hull University (13)
Nottingham Rock City (14)

Bristol Academy (20)
Oxford Academy (22)
London Shepherd's Bush Empire (23)


Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am (BST) on Friday (April 18).

are this band relevant enough to warrant nme cover staus and constant praise. they are as average as a tesco store in ipswich
