The Courteeners have announced a gig for 2011 at Cheshire's Delamere Forest.

The band, who played a hometown show at Manchester's MEN Arena last Friday (December 10), will play the show on July 2.

Singer Liam Fray joked about the nature of the gig, saying: "It will be amazing to leave the poison of the city and venture into Delamere's leafy empire. For one special night, The Courteeners go country."
