'Les Misérables – The Motion Picture Cast Recording' has reclaimed the Official UK Album Chart top spot, denying The Courteeners their first UK Number One.

The Manchester band had been in the lead in the mid-week chart, but sales of their third album 'Anna' dropped off towards the end of the week and finishes five spots down at Number 6. A late surge in sales gives the Les Misérables soundtrack its third, non-consecutive week at the top, according to the Official Charts Company.

Jake Bugg's self-titled debut album has jumped four places to Number Two, last week's chart-topper, Biffy Clyro's 'Opposites', is down two places to Number Three and Emeli Sande celebrates the one-year anniversary of her debut album, 'Our Version Of Events', with a Number Four chart placing. Fleetwood Mac's reissued 'Rumours' completes this week's Top 5.

Elsewhere, Frightened Rabbit have secured their first ever Top 10 album with 'Pedestrian Verse'. The album is the Scottish band's fourth record but it is their first on a Major Label.

In the Official UK Singles Chart, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' 'Thrift Shop' is this week's Number One. Debuting in January just inside the Top 100, the track has quickly climbed the charts, selling 157,000 copies.

Disclosure and AlunaGeorge's collaboration, 'White Noise', has climbed an incredible 26 places to finish the week at Number 2, while Bingo Player's 'Get Up (Rattle)' is down two spots to Number Three. Emeli Sande's 'Clown' is at Number Four and Fall Out Boy's comeback single, 'My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark', is new in at Number Five.
