The Courteeners announce December UK tour dates

Band will play eight gigs at end of the year, including Manchester Arena date

The Courteeners have announce details of a UK tour to take place this December.

The band, who released new album 'Anna' in February, will play eight gigs in total, including a huge homecoming show at Manchester Arena on December 13. Starting in Preston on December 2, the band will play gigs in London, Lincoln, Birmingham, Hull, Aberdeen and Glasgow before the Manchester date.

Earlier this year, The Courteeners played to 16,000 people over two nights at two huge hometown shows at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl. Support came from Miles Kane, The Strypes and James Skelly & The Intenders among others and Liam Fray followed the second night with a sold-out acoustic performance at Manchester Academy 2. Fray will also be heading out on a sold out acoustic tour later this month.
