The Cribs forced to move gig to pub The Cribs Tickets

After venue is flooded

The Cribs were forced to move last night's (March 9) gig to a local pub after the venue - Glasgow’s King’s Tuts- flooded, following an overflow in the ladies toilets.

The concert was moved to The Admiral pub.

A posting on their official forum from fan Catswhiskers reads: “Basically, they said it was cancelled and then that they would try to find a new venue. We went to Firewater as it was nearby and the chat went round about it being moved to the Admiral.

“We went to the Admiral and queued for years before they let us in...They only played for about 30 mins, but it was fantastic.“

Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy from Franz Ferdinand were both in attendance.

The band’s tour is set to continue, it will call at:

Middlesboro Cornerhouse (March 9)
Wakefield Escobar (10)
London Royal Albert Hall (30)
