They knock Pigeon Detectives off the top

The Cribs have topped the NME Chart today (August 19) with 'Moving Pictures'.

The band have knocked The Pigeon Detectives off the top spot who held the position with 'Take Her Back'.

The sole new entry on the chart is Peter, Bjorn and John who are at Number Six with 'Young Folks'.

The Top Ten is:

1. The Cribs - 'Moving Pictures'
2. Maximo Park - 'Girls Who Play Guitars'
3. The Pigeon Detectives - 'Take Her Back'
4.The White Stripes – 'You Don’t Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You Please)'
5. The Twang - 'Two Lovers'
6. Peter, Bjorn & John - 'Young Folks'
7. The Enemy - 'You're Not Alone'
8. The Rumble Strips - 'Girls and Boys In Love'
9. Hard-Fi - 'Suburban Knights'
10. Interpol - 'The Heinrich Maneuver'
