Watch footage of Ryan Jarman in Sheffield on NME.COM now

Video footage of The Cribs' singer Ryan Jarman being mistaken for a crowd surfer by bouncers during a recent gig has emerged online.

As previously reported on NME.COM, during The Cribs’ gig at Sheffield University Students’ Union on Saturday night (October 6), frontman Ryan Jarman was mistaken for a stage-invading fan and roughed up by security guards.

Since the event close up video footage of the incident has emerged online, and is available to watch now on NME.COM.

The video, which you can watch below, shows Jarman removing his shirt, leaping into the crowd and then being removed by security guards who believe he is a fan.

He is then pressed against the stage as the guards attempt to evict him, before eventually being convinced by Jarman’s guitar tech that he is a band member.

You can watch the video below, then head to the NME Office Blog to have your say on the incident.
