The Jarman brothers hint at new collaboration

The Cribs have revealed that they will record a brand new EP in early 2008.

The band hinted that the release will feature a collaboration with a yet-to-be-revealed artist.

The band explained their studio plans in a new video interview taken backstage at the Swn festival in Cardiff, where they played a gig at the Great Hall venue last Friday (November 9). You can watch the full interview by clicking on the video below.

“We’ve got something very, very, exciting planned for the new year,” singer Gary Jarman explained to NME.COM. “Believe me, there’s something so exciting going on, some people might have a bit of a nervous breakdown about it.”

Bassist Gary Jarman revealed that the band would not release a new album in 2008, but that he too was “excited” about the EP.

As we revealed yesterday (November 12), The Cribs, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, Does It Offend You Yeah? and The Ting Tings are the bands who will play the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour 2008.
