Cribs joined by Kate Nash for second Christmas gig
Plus band stage the best pub quiz ever
The show, part of three nights at the venue, saw the Wakefield trio perform their second album 'The New Fellas' in full.
Before to The Cribs' set, the band were supported by singer-songwriter Nash, who followed Franz Ferdinand the surprise support the previous night.
The night also featured a series of festive games including a "Cribsmas Pub Quiz", with Cribs-related questions (including guessing Gary Jarman's shoe size and how many times he's seen 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'), an auction for a framed poster of the band which fetched £130, and 'Jarman vs Barman', that set Ryan Jarman against the venue's staff in a pint-pulling competition.
Along with the album set, The Cribs also played an earlier set featuring B-sides from around their second record, which saw them joined by Jon Slade from for 'Advice From A Roving Artist'.
The Cribs' three Christmas gigs, in aid of cystic fibrosis charities, will finish this evening (December 21) with the trio playing their third album 'Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever' tonight.
Again a surprise support band is rumoured, so stay tuned to NME.COM for the latest news.
