The Cribs' Gary Jarman has spoken out about what it feels like to be out-selling The Beatles in the UK albums chart.

The band's fourth album 'Ignore The Ignorant' is currently trumping the Liverpool legends' reissued back catalogue after they all hit the shelves on Monday (September 7).

"It seems bonkers right now," Jarman told NME.COM. "Even talk of charts like that, it's humorous to us really. I never thought we'd be in this situation. But it's fine, doing a lot of it on your own. It's something the band did organically, that's the coolest thing."

The Cribs showcased the new album at the London Barfly venue on Sunday night (September 6), playing in front of a few hundred hardcore fans at the sold-out show.
