The Cribs have made their cover of Kaiser Chiefs' 'Modern Way' available as a download, with the proceeds set to go to charity.

The song was recorded in 2005 and released as a B-side to the Wakefield band's single 'Mirror Kissers' (before Johnny Marr joined the band). The song is available from iTunes now, with money raised through sales going to the Cash For Kids Action On Neglect Appeal.

The charity aids neglected children in the Leeds and West Yorkshire area – where the Jarman brothers hail from.

The Cribs are set to release a new single, 'We Share The Same Skies', on November 9.
