The Cribs have revealed that they are set to reissue their 2005 self-titled debut album packaged with some of their earliest demos.

Frontman Ryan Jarman told NME.COM that the album would be released on vinyl for the first time later in 2010 (released date as-yet unconfirmed) complete with a bonus CD featuring the demos that got them signed.

"I was always gutted that the first album never came out on vinyl," he said, "so I'm really glad about it now. I always felt that demo was one of the best things we've ever done. It's what we sent off to Wichita that got us our record deal."

The band are also set to release a split vinyl single with The Thermals to mark Record Store Day on April 17. The Cribs' 'So Hot Now' (the B-side for 2009 single 'Cheat On Me' will feature alongside The Thermals' 'Separate'.

See Recordstoreday.com for more information about Record Store Day – which marks the international celebration of independent music stores.
