THE HEAVY (METAL) MOB!

Queens Of The Stone Age and Stone Temple Pilots also turn up at the Brixton Academy rock jamboree...

MARILYN MANSON, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, PAPA ROACH and GREEN DAY were amongst the assembled guests at THE CULT's London BRIXTON ACADEMY show last night (August 27).

Manson remained at the side of the stage throughout the set, but didn't join the bands at the aftershow party. Also present at the metal jamboree were Stone Temple Pilots, Alien Ant Farm and System Of A Down. All the acts, aside from Stone Temple Pilots, had played the Carling Weekend.

The Cult and Marilyn Manson have been friends for some time. Frontman Ian Astbury told NME.COM on Sunday (August 26) that, "Manson we know from shows in America. We hang in the same social circles in LA."
