NU CURE!

Ross Robinson's I Am snaps up the goth rockers...

THE CURE have signed a three-album deal with nu-metal producer ROSS ROBINSON's I AM record label.

Robinson, who helped launch the careers of Slipknot and Limp Bizkit, issued a statement saying the band have been a pivotal influence on his work. "The Cure has been my favourite band for years and years. They were instrumental in my approach to production. It was The Cure that opened me up to a more sensitive, heartfelt type of music, and I've been extremely loyal to that feeling in every project I've done since then."

According to mtv.com, the band are expected to begin work on their 14th studio album, the follow-up to 2000's 'Bloodflowers', with Robinson in London in July.
