Band are US bound in support of forthcoming album

The Cure have confirmed a tour of the US kicking off September 13 in Tampa, FL.

The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their 13th studio record and first album of new music since 2004’s self titled release ‘The Cure’. The new album, as yet untitled, has been recorded in the UK with Robert Smith producing. The album will be released in the fall.

Tickets for the tour go on sale starting June 28. Check thecure.com for all on sale dates.

Opening on the jaunt are 65 Days Of Static.
