NEW MATERIAL'S JUST DANDY! Get Tickets

The [a]Dandys[/a] 'Get Off on the UK, baby...

THE DANDY WARHOLS have announced details of a new single, album and UK tour to nme.com.

The band release a new single, 'Get Off' on May 29 through Capitol, which is followed by the band's third studio album 'Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia' on June 12, also through Capitol.

These releases are the first new Warhols material since 1997's 'Come Down', which spawned the hit singles 'Every Day Should Be A Holiday' and 'Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth'.

A spokesperson for the Dandy Warhols told nme.com: "(The new material) is wicked! They set out to make a classic album and they've succeeded. The album addresses tales from Urban Bohemia. They lead a bohemic lifestyle and they're making music that reflects that. The record is totally diverse, but it all makes sense."

The band have finalised a short tour of the south of England for April, which calls at Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (April 23), Colchester Arts Centre (25), Milton Keynes Woughton Centre (26) and London Dingwalls (27). They are also lining up a full UK tour to coincide with the album release in June.
