The Dandy Warhols have announced details of a forthcoming American tour.
Set to play three Italian-themed Christmas shows next month, the band revealed their reasons behind the gigs.
"We are on a mission to convince Christendom that Italy does it best," the band said on their website – TheDandyWarhols.com. "We like to take a different approach to Christmas: a little more Old World and a lot more jaunty," they added.
For the shows the band will be bringing a slice of Italy to what they call the "dreary environs" of north west America, with a show in Seattle and two in Portland.
The Dandy Warhols will play:
Seattle, Washington Neumos (December 11)
Portland, Oregon Wonder Ballroom (12, 13)
