‘The Dark Knight Rises’: Juno Temple joins new Batman film’s cast

Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway-starring movie set to come out next year

Juno Temple has reportedly signed up to appear in the forthcoming new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.

The actress, who previously appeared in indie film Kaboom, is being tipped to play a minor role Christopher Nolan‘s third and final film in the franchise, according to Variety magazine.

Rumour has it that Temple will star as streetwise Gotham City girl Holly Robinson.

The character originally appeared in Frank Miller‘s Batman: Year One comic storyline as a character Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.

Anne Hathaway has already been confirmed to play Catwoman in the new film. Earlier this week, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was reportedly cast as gangster Alberto Calzone.

Christian Bale will reprise his role as Batman in the film, which is due for release next summer.
