BAND AID 20 STAYS AT NUMBER ONE

'Do They Know It's Christmas?' keeps the top spot for the second week...

BAND AID 20’s ’DO THEY KNOW IT’S CHRISTMAS?’ stays at number one in the UK singles chart tonight (December 12) for the second week.

The charity record holds the pole position with Kylie Minogue’s ’I Believe In You’ debuting at two.

Other new entries this week come from Robbie Williams in at eight with ’Misunderstood’, 3rd Wish at 15 with ’Obsesion (Si Es Amor)’, Maroon 5 charting at 27 with ’Sunday Morning’, Mousse T featuring Emma Lanford in at 28 with ’Right About Now’ and Brian Wilson hitting 30 with ’Good Vibrations’.

At the lower end of the rundown The Corrs’ ’Long Night’ enters at 31, Ash’s ’Renegade Cavalcade' goes in at 33, ’Fifty Grand For Christmas’ by Paul Holt at 35 and Beastie Boys’ ’Open Letter To NYC’ debuting at 38.

In the album charts, U2’s ’How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb’ stays at number one.
