Justin Hawkins in competition to win song contest
Former frontman of The Darkness Justin Hawkins is competiting to represent in the UK.
Hawkins is to perform the duet ’They Don’t Make ‘Em Like They Used To’ with singer Beverlei Brown.
The singer is one of six acts in competition to represent the UK in Helsinki.
The other acts are former East 17 singer Brian Harvey, former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon, Big Brovaz, Cyndi and Scooch.
Last year Daz Sampson finished in 19th place in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, Greece with ’Teenage Life’.
Hawkins will perform his song during the ’Making Your Mind Up’ show.
