New reports suggest a reunion may be on the cards

The Darkness to reform with original line-up?
Rumours are rife that The Darkness are about to announce a reformation with their original line-up.

According to The Sun, brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins have resolved long-standing differences and are ready to play together again.

The Norfolk hair metallers split in 2007 and formed separate bands. Singer Justin started Hot Leg, who released one album in 2009, while the remaining members formed the Stone Gods, who disbanded last year.

Rumours of a possible reformation first surfaced last summer, but the band members denied the claims.

However, a new website, Theactualdarkness.com, has been launched and there is now an active Facebook page, Facebook.com/thedarknessofficial.

None of the band have publicly commented on a possible reunion as yet.
