The Datsuns have been confirmed as the support act for METALLICA during their stint Down Under as part of the BIG DAY OUT festival.
The Kiwi rockers will open for the metal giants at three sideline shows later this month in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
As previously reported on NME.COM, Stevie Wonder headed into the studio in November with Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones to begin work on the follow-up to 2002's self-titled debut.
Jones is producing the band's second album, which was recorded at Jacob's Studios in Surrey - made famous by The Datsuns, Radiohead, will support Metallica at:
Brisbane Entertainment Centre (January 19)
Sydney Entertainment Centre (21)
Melbourne Myer Music Bowl (28)
