The Decemberists to play Hollywood Bowl

The Decemberists have announced that they will perform at the Hollywood Bowl on July 7.
The Portland rockers will be accompanied by the renowned Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the famous open-air amphitheatre, and are planning to debut orchestral arrangements of their songs.
Belle & Sebastian played a similar type of show at the Hollywood Bowl last summer, also backed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
The Decemberists are currently touring Europe, playing tonight (February 21) at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, and tomorrow (February 22) at La Maroquinerie in Paris.
Next month the band will embark on an extensive tour of North America, as previously announced.
