Central Park Summerstage line-up unveiled
The Decemberists
Television, Joss Stone and The Decemberists will perform
The initial line-up for the Central Park Summerstage series of events was revealed this afternoon (April 4).
Seminal New York punk band Television will headline the event on June 16, with support from The Apples In Stereo while Neko Case headlines the stage on July 20.
Joss Stone, Brooklyn rapper Common and Georgian R&B artist Ryan Shaw will take to the stage for the June 20 performance while July 16 sees Grizzly Bear open for The Decemberists.
Taking place in Rumsey Playfield in New York’s famous Central Park, the events are all free. Last year’s acts included Damien Rice, The New Pornographers and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
