Beatles footage shows up on download site
Wippit has Fab Four footage but not songs
Rare footage from The Beatles has shown up on download site Wippit.
As previously reported the site recently claimed it would be the first to sell The Beatles songs online following an agreement to license their back catalogue to online stores.
However the site has obtained video reports of Beatlemania in 1964, Paul McCartney getting married and John Lennon’s “bed in” with partner Yoko Ono in 1969.
The footage comes from ITN, Pathe and Reuters archives. Video downloads are on sale from 49p each or as bundles from £4.99.
They are available in Windows Media Video format in all provences except North America, reports BBC News.
