THE EAGLES are to make 12 previously unavailable live tracks freely downloadable from the Internet to coincide with the US release of their first ever box-set.

Tracks lifted from the band's New Year's Eve 1999 concert in Los Angeles, including 'Hotel California', 'Best Of My Love' and 'Take It To The Limit' will be available on November 14 at eight online retail sites - Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com, TWEC.com, CDNow!, Borders.com, Checkout.com, Tower Records.com, and Musicland.com, and, rather than timeout, will remain available to download for good.

On the same day, 'The Eagles: Selected Works 1972 - 1999' will be released. A four disc collection, it covers the groups complete career divided into Disc One: The Early Days, Disc Two: The Ballads, Disc Three: The Fast Lane, and Disc Four: the Millennium Concert. Within the set there are also two hidden tracks, as well as a 40-page booklet that features rare photos of the band.

The Eagles previous compilation 'Their Greatest Hits 1971 - 1975' has sold over 27 million copies.

All Eagles standards like 'Tequila Sunrise', 'Take It Easy', 'Lyin' Eyes' and 'Desperado' feature on the forthcoming release.
