Band to mark closure of London venue in style

The Enemy to play a rare acoustic show tomorrow night (August 30).

The band will return to the scene of their first ever London gig last year, to play Camden club night Another Music, Another Kitchen.

The club, which has staged early performance from the likes of The Twang, Lethal Bizzle, Cold War Kids and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong among others is staging its final ever night at the Proud Galleries.

The night is being forced to move because of plans to redevelop Camden’s Stables Market area.

Kate Nash recently played a show in support of the campaign to save the area, and a petition to save the area is currently being mounted at Petitions.pm.gov.uk/camdenmarket/.

Meanwhile Kubichek and Club NME DJs are among those also playing the final Another Music, Another Kitchen, while the night plan to return as a record label in early October releasing The Alones debut single.

Meanwhile for more on The Enemy, check out reports of their show at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival, their spot of bother with a bouncer at Leeds and their show at Pentonville Prison over the weekend (August 24-27).
