Trio head back to Coventry for summer bash

The Enemy are to headline a summer festival in their hometown.

The trio are the first act announced for this year's Godiva Festival at Coventry's Memorial Park.

The three-day event takes place over the weekend of July 4-6.

Frontman Tom Clarke told NME.COM: "We're being helicoptered in this year! It's a festival in a park in Cov, we’re expecting thousands. I can't wait!"

I'll be there - last year was so good. I think Godiva will need a much bigger tent than the 3,000 one they had in 2007.Bring it on!

Shame the singer is an absolute scally cock. Slagging off Artic Monkeys, dont try and bring yourself up on the coat tails of someone else's band, some OK tunes but send em back to Cov...

Oh no what a nightmare!Last year these were 2nd headliners and attracted every looser from cov (which there are many) into the tent. The Cribs were lower on the bill that day????:S WTF? Enemy better than cribs? no chance.Ah well, still going, get hammered, watch some good bands and clear off before that little brummy prick comes on stage starting F'in and blinding about being home. Coventry isn't your home, kn*b ed. Rant over :)
