The Enemy frontman Tom Clarke sliced off the end of his finger at Chicago's Lollapalooza this weekend.
It was the band's very first American gig, and Clarke said he soldiered on through the set despite his injury.
"I managed to slash the end off my finger playing guitar there was fucking blood everywhere," he told NME.COM.
"The doctor looked at it after the set and said I'd have to miss a couple of gigs. I said I'd miss one but I'm not missing LA."
The band were forced to cancel their appearance at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal yesterday (August 5), but are going ahead with their first-ever gig in Los Angeles at the Troubadour tonight.
"I don't really care if my finger's pissing blood--it's not the end of the world, it's an occupational hazard," he said.
