The Fall are to release a new EP on November 11.

'The Remainderer EP' will contain six brand new songs from Mark E Smith's long-running and incredibly prolific post-punk band and will be available on CD or 10" vinyl through Cherry Red Records.

On the label's website the EP is described as "a bridging point between albums; the new one being released by Cherry Red in 2014". The band released their 30th studio album 'Re-Mit' in May of this year (2013).

Shortly after the release of the EP, The Fall will release a new live album, recorded at various gigs over the last three years, on November 25, also through Cherry Red. The Fall currently have two gigs booked in for November: London's Clapham Grand on November 15 followed by Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on November 29.

'The Remainderer EP' tracklisting:

'The Remainderer'
'Amorator!I'
'Mister Rode'
'Rememberance R'
'Say Mama/Race With The Devil'
'Touchy Pad'
