Bands customise clothing for the raunchy mag

Kasabian and The Flaming Lips have designed T-shirts as part of a project for Playboy’s annual Sex and Music issue.

Metric, The Thievery Corporation, Soulwax and Stellastarr* have also completed customizations of the brand and logo, for the ‘Rock the Rabbit’ range, which will replicated and sold online and at the Playboy Boutique in Las Vegas.

Later this year the original prototypes will be auctioned off to raise money for Lifebeat: The Music Industry Fights AIDS.

Kasabian are currently on tour in Australia, and will return to the UK for a sold-out NME Shockwaves performance at London Hammersmith Palais on February 13. Their single ’Me Plus One’ will be released on Monday (January 29).
