Flaming Lips 2005
Fans can join in their procession of skeletons to mark the occasion
The Flaming Lips have been asked by The Oklahoma Gazette to join their annual Halloween parade this year.
The group, from Oklahoma City, are now asking fans to get involved with their ‘March Of A Thousand Flaming Skeletons’, which is set to take place on October 27.
The band have issued a call for 1000 fans to join them on their march, which they say is "a symbolic procession glorifying the beauty of death and the boundless flame of love and life".
Participants must pay a $25 fee, but get to keep their costumes. Interested parties should email deathmarchreservation@hellfireltd.com, and be at least 18 years of age.
