The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne has made a poster using his own blood, and you can see a video of him making it below.

The poster was printed to commemorate the group's recent appearance at this year's Austin City Limits festival and is soon to be auctioned, reports Consequence Of Sound.

"We thought it would be silly to use chicken blood or something," Coyne says in the video. "They don't need to sacrifice their vital fluids any more than I need to."

The Flaming Lips are currently on a tour of the US and will also hold their annual Halloween parade on October 23.
