The Flaming Lips' closed Canadian festival Osheaga by marrying a couple live onstage during their headline set.

The band, who played their seminal 1999 album 'The Soft Bulletin' in its entirety on the night, performed the ceremony during the encore, with frontman Wayne Coyne conducting the vows, ending his duties with the phrase: "By the power of The Flaming Lips, the universe and LSD, I now pronounce you man and wife!"

The couple, who were named as Graham and Robyn, were both dressed as characters from The Wizard Of Oz, were also married for real behind the festival's Main Stage after the show by a certified minister. During the show, Coyne hinted that this may well be the last time the band play the album through from start to finish, saying "This is possibly the last time ever we'll do 'The Soft Bulletin', maybe, I don't know."
