The love-in between The Flaming Lips and Ke$ha is showing no sign of abating, with the Oklahoma band and 'Tik Tok' singer apparently joining forces to record a song about "futuristic sex toys".

Ke$ha is one of many on the star-studded list of collaborators who have contributed to the Lips' Record Store Day release 'The Flaming Lips And Heavy Fwends', and will also reportedly give up some of her blood to so it can be used in the album's packaging.

Last month (March 29), Coyne revealed that he was eager to return the favour by working with the singer on her second LP – and according to his Twitter, they have been in the studio together recently.

Coyne wrote:

Ha ha!! @keshasuxx doin a freaky new song about futuristic sex toys!!!

He later added: "Screaming Beach Boys lyrics backwards... @keshasuxx I think thats what you're screaming."

'The Flaming Lips And Heavy Fwends' will be released on April 21. Contributors to the record include Nick Cave, Erykah Badu and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon. You can listen to their collaboration with Bon Iver, which is titled 'Ashes In The Air', by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

Ke$ha released her debut LP, 'Animal', in 2010. Last month (March 14), she boldly proclaimed that the new record would usher in the dawn of a new genre called "cock pop".

Although she didn't reveal what the new musical movement would entail, it isn't the first time she has discussed phalluses in public. Earlier this year (February 2), she claimed that she makes her assistant dress up in a penis outfit to cheer her up when she is upset.
