Fratellis win BRIT for British Breakthrough Act
Plus the International Breakthrough Act goes to Orson
The Fratellis have won the British Breakthrough Act prize at tonight’s (February 14) BRIT Awards in London.
The British Breakthrough Act was presented by Jarvis Cocker at the Earl’s Court ceremony, who introduced the band as sounding "like a family run firm of ice cream manufactures, when actually they're purveyors of ice cool indie".
Collecting the award singer Jon Fratelli paid tribute to his fans saying: "We have to thank the people who were there at the beginning, The Fratellis fans, we're never going to forget you.

The Fratellis
James Morrison
The Kooks
Lily Allen
Meanwhile actress Toni Collette presented the International Breakthrough Act to Orson.
