The Futureheads are to play a tiny London show next week.

The band will play a secret venue on Monday (May 1). Tickets are free, and are being given away by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 1.

The Maccabees will also perform. Both performances will be recorded for broadcast at a future date.

The Futureheads release new single ‘Skip To The End’ as a download on May 15, with a full release following a week later. It’s lifted from the band’s second LP ‘News And Tributes’, which is out on May 29.

There then follows a UK tour, with the band playing at:

Glasgow Academy (May 29)
Liverpool Academy (30)
Leeds University (31)
Manchester Academy (June 2)
Nottingham Rock City (3)
Keele University (4)
Norwich UEA (6)
Bristol Academy (7)
Southampton Guildhall (8)
Birmingham Academy (9)
