The Futureheads will play a live set in the Queen Margaret Union shop at Glasgow University today (December 2) at 1pm (GMT) after staff there won the NME Indie For Indies competition.

The competition was open to small independent UK retailers, with those showing best sales and support for NME winning a one-off gig in their shop.

Staff at the Queen Margaret Union shop posted up pictures of bands around the union to advertise the magazine, organised raffles and a prize draw - and also gave away a free guitar with every issue, bagging the prize of the Sunderland band playing a special show for them.

Head down to the shop today at 1pm to catch the band.
