The Human League and The Futureheads are among the acts announced to play on the Sunday (July 26) of this year's Ben & Jerry's Sundae On The Common festival.

Speaking of why The Human League decided to play the festival, which takes place on Clapham Common, frontman Phil Oakey said that the offer of free ice cream proved to be a deciding factor.

"We are really excited about playing at this year's Ben & Jerry's Sundae On The Common and we think it's got all the makings of a great day out," he said in a statement. "Personally it's the free ice cream that did it for us!"

The acts playing the Saturday of the festival (July 25) include I Am Kloot and Marina And The Diamonds, although the headliners have not been announced yet.

The Ben & Jerry's Sundae On The Common line-up so far is:

Human League
The Futureheads
