In New York

The Game was arrested in New York on Thursday (November 16) for impersonating a policeman.

According to the Associated Press the rapper told a taxi driver that he was an undercover police officer and persuaded the driver to run a series of red lights.

The Game allegedly picked up a livery cab on Thursday after he appeared on the ’Late Show With David Letterman’. The taxi driver drove 13 blocks before he was pulled over, police said.

The rapper, real name Jayceon Taylor, faces a charge of impersonating a plice officer said police Sgt. Kevin Hayes.

Taylor’s lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman denied the accusation yesterday (November 18). He said: “This is a new low even for the NYPD. It’s a big joke to harass him and other member of the hip hop community and ultimately arresting him.”

The rapper is set to appear in court on December 12.
