Rapper enters prison for 60 days for weapons offences
US rapper The Game began his jail sentence yesterday (March 3) at the Twin Towers correctional facility in Los Angeles.
The star received a 60-day sentence earlier this year for weapons offences.
The jail term follows an incident last February when the rapper was accused of pulling a gun on fellow basketball player Rodrick Shannon during a charity match at the Rita Walters Educational Complex.
The court heard that after a heated exchange on the court The Game went to his car, retrieved a firearm, then threatened Shannon with it, reports BBC News.
He was found guilty of possessing a gun on a school premises last month.
