The Hangover star is early negotiations to star in the remake of the gothic horror. The project was announced last week, and will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
Cooper and the Spanish director “shared a vision” for the character and the film when they met recently, according to Thehollywoodreporter.com.
