But they're already getting ready for next year

The Hives have played their last shows for 2005 and will begin recording the follow up to last years ‘Tyrannosaurus Hives’ at the start of next year.

Speaking during their recent show in Sydney (October 21), frontman Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist told the crowd that Australia was “the last place we wanted to tour” in promotion of their 2004 release.

He added that the band were now heading home to spend Christmas in Sweden before beginning work on their next album in January.
