The Hold Steady headline NME's US Rock 'N' Roll Riot Tour
The Hold Steady are set to embark on a US tour, presented by NME.

The ‘NME Rock 'N' Roll Riot Tour 2007’ will see the Brooklyn band lead the jaunt around the US, in support of their 2006 album ‘Boys And Girls In America’.

The NME Rock 'N' Roll Riot Tour has been a staple of the British live scene for the last few years bringing a host of top acts together, now it is America's turn.

Opening for Rhe Hold Steady will be Brit art-rockers Art Brut, and the tour is set to be one long love-in, because according frontman Craig Finn, Art Brut’s Eddie Argos is “one of the finest current lyricists in rock. I believe he completely understands the place for both humor and honesty in rock & roll”.

New York’s Demander (10.21- 10.25), Brooklyn’s Federale (October 26 - November 1), Los Angeles’s The Blood Arm (November 4 - November 9) and Scotland’s 1990s (November 14 - November 21) will all be joining dates on the tour too.

More support acts will be confimed in the near future.

Presale tickets are available from noon from the Ticketmaster website. The pre-sale password is southtown.
