The Holloways go on 'green friendly' seaside tour The Holloways Tickets

Band team up with Friends Of The Earth

The Holloways have announced they are to team up with Friends Of The Earth in their The Big Ask campaign by playing a string of dates to promote eco-friendly UK tourism.

Taking to the road in a London red bus, the Summer Holloways Tour will kick off on June 1 at Bournemouth Opera House and will call at seaside towns across the UK.

The campaign is currently calling for the government to ensure that its proposed climate change law cuts UK carbon dioxide emissions by at least three percent each year.

Speaking of their decision to join forces with Friends Of The Earth, band member Bryn Fowler explained: “We wanted to show you can go on holiday with a minimal carbon outlay and still have a great time. British seaside towns have been dying for years and now is the time to bring these great towns out.”

The band will also re-release their track 'Generator' to coincide with the tour dates.

The dates are as follows:

Bournemouth Opera House (June 1)
Morecombe Dome (2)
Whitehaven Civic Centre (3)
Swansea Sin City (4)
Penzance The Acorn (5)
Southend Chinnery’s (6)
Cleethorpes The Pier (7)
